CHAPTER 20

I awake the next morning, and sigh in happiness. I was still wrapped in Adhan's arms. I open my eyes to peek at his sleeping face, and I find he is awake and smiling at me, happiness shining in his gorgeous eyes.

“This is the perfect way to wake-up,” I say to him, leaning in to kiss him good morning.

He kisses me back. “I can think of a more perfect way to wake-up, but I’ll save that for another morning,” he tells me with a smile.

“Are you all rested?” I ask him.

“I am. I can’t believe I slept so long,” he admitted.

“I can. You didn’t sleep for three days,” I say, nuzzling the side of his neck.

In a move I’m not expecting, Adhan throws the blanket off of us, and rolls on top of me. I widen my legs to accommodate him, and he leans down, keeping most of his weight off me by leaning on his arms and kissing me. I wrap my arms around him, pulling his shirt out of the back of his jeans and running my hands over his back. He always feels amazing. If anyone stops us now, I will find a way to give them boils, or put itching powder in their boxers. We are making love if it kills me.

Adhan kisses me down my neck, and sitting up, uses his hands to push my t-shirt up. We then get down to the serious business of making love.

I honestly can’t remember ever being so happy. I’m lying on top of Adhan, my head resting over his heart, listening to its steady beat. I move my head and kiss his chest.

“So worth the wait,” Adhan says, kissing the top of my head.

“You didn’t wait that long. It’s not even been two weeks yet,” I protested.

“True, but for me, the wait felt like forever. But now, instead of basking in the afterglow of making love, we need to get up. Molly is coming this morning, remember?”

“I wonder what the time is,” I say, hoping we had time to eat before she arrives. Adhan lifts his head and looks at the clock. “It’s just after 9am.”

I sigh happily. “Yay. Come on, shower games,” I say, sitting up and grabbing his hand.

“I’m not sure the shower is big enough for the both of us,” Adhan points out.

“We can make it work,” I say with confidence, pulling him out of the bed with me.

We can’t make it work. The shower barely has room to fit Adhan. I curse the pesky shower, but there is nothing we can do but shower separately. I grumble as Adhan just laughs.

“Tomorrow we’ll wake up in my bed and play in my shower, which is much bigger,” he assures me.

“Deal,” I say.

It doesn’t take us long to get ready. Adhan is pleased he has some clean clothes to put on and he kisses me as a thank you.

We made breakfast together, which was fun, and finally sit down to eat. “Hey do you realise this is our first meal, just the two of us?” I say cheerfully.
